- Try setting the S191 register to a setting below the standard 128, i.e.
- 125 or so. Lower numbers will allow more line noise for the same connect
- speed, so you'll get more 28.8 connects, but you'll get more errors for
- v.42 to catch, so it may or may not be faster, depending on how bad your
- line really is.
