  22. Try setting the S191 register to a setting below the standard 128, i.e.
  23. 125 or so.  Lower numbers will allow more line noise for the same connect
  24. speed, so you'll get more 28.8 connects, but you'll get more errors for
  25. v.42 to catch, so it may or may not be faster, depending on how bad your
  26. line really is.
